I Know You
What is it about you that attracts me so;
we have met before, somewhere I know.
There are things that creep into my mind;
some answers to questions, I hope to find.
About times gone by, of loves in the past;
have we met again, from dies already cast?
Laying beside you, together at night;
seems so natural, seems so right.
We have done this before, a voice tells me;
your familiar body I needn't see.
To know the swell and curve of your breast;
to know satisfaction, and mind at rest.
I KNOW YOU
This life we're in, things moving so fast;
of pictures that talk, and loves that don't last.
Makes me wish for another day;
for a life we have lived, in a different way.
To be free as the Wolf, to come and to go;
of mountains and valleys, adrift with snow.
Have you been by my side, under hides so soft;
have we gazed at an Eagle, soaring aloft?
Have we walked amongst Aspens, on a warm summers night;
have we danced by the fire, before the fight?
There are memories somewhere, hidden and deep;
that only return in a restless sleep.
I KNOW YOU
Little things you do, your laugh and your smile;
the feel of your body, your hair and it's style.
Atractted me to you, from the very first day;
we have known eachother, in a different way.
Our Souls have touched, before you see;
we have been together, You and Me.
Some people believe in life everlasting;
some in prayer, in pain, and fasting.
Others believe that life go'es on;
each life of it's own, a different song.
And when again, by chance we meet;
our souls will touch, with these feelings greet.
I KNOW YOU
So if these feelings you dare to believe;
that another chance, you will recieve.
To walk hand in hand, in a different place;
a different body, a different face.
But souls that have touched, sometime before;
that feeling will strenghten, more and more.
And each time we meet, in another life;
maybe as lovers, or husband and wife.
Maybe we'll remember, that we loved long ago;
that we layed in a Tipi, in a winters snow.
Of good times and bad times, of children and friends;
FOR I BELIEVE IT NEVER ENDS!
I KNOW YOU
